Tutor Groups
melbourne school of fine woodworking offers weekly day and evening Tutor Groups where members design and make their own furniture under the guidance of a professional designer and furniture maker.
Members have the opportunity to broaden their skills, learn the correct use of hand tools and how to operate the machinery safely.
Bench Sessions
These are 4 hour non-teaching daytime sessions available to current Tutor Group members who have successfully completed two tutor group terms and machine instruction and have been Signed-Off. Each Tutor Group member is entitled to one 'Bench Session' per week.* These sessions are an ideal way to access the facilities to devote extra time towards completing your project and to meet other members to exchange ideas.
* Bench sessions may not be available when msfw workshops and short courses are scheduled.
